Obit: Mrs. Etta Bradley Jackson 83, died Monday afternoon at the home of her daugher, Mrs, J. M. Towe of Benvenue.  She had been ill for some time.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Edgecombe County, daughter of the late W. Ezra Bradley and Caroline Proctor Bradley.  She was the widow of J. R. Jackson..  She was a member of the Benvenue Baptist Church, being its oldest member, and a member of the Benvenue Homemakers Club.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Benvenue Baptist Church.  The Rev. R. C. Shearin and the Rev. Dewey Tyson will officate.  Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.  The body will remain at Gays Funeral Home until 10 o'clock Wednesday Morning when it will be taken to the church.
Surviving are two sons; J. Reese Jackson of Tarboro Highway, Rocky Mount and W. N. Jackson of Raleigh: three daughters, Mrs. J. M. Towe, Mrs. G. S. Bunn of Roanpke Rapids, Mrs. W. R. Hackney of Red Oak: one foster son, R. E. McAdams of Durham ; and eight grandchildren.

Obit: J. Reese Jackson 51, died at his home on Tarboro Highway after a brief illness.  He is survived by his wife; three sisters, Mrs. G.S. Bunn of Roanoke Rapids, Mrs W. R. Hackney of Red Oak, Mrs. J. M. Towe of Rocky Mount; one brother, W. N. Jackson of Raleigh and a foster brother, R. E. McAdams of Durham.
Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday at 3 p.m. Further arrangements will be announced later.
