SALEMSCHOOL NOTICE, 1835.
SALEM (N. C.) BOARDING SCHOOL
For Young Ladies.
The Trustees of this well known Establishment for the Education of Young Ladies, feeling truly grateful for the very great and increasing confidence of Parents, Guardians and other patrons of their Institution, are, at the same time, solicitous to preserve that high confidence, by endeavoring to accomplish their duties towards their pupils, and each individual among them, in the most conscientious manner. In order to attain this object, they must be enabled to keep up a due proportion between the number of their pupils and their own means for accommodating and instructing them.
It is therefore most respectfully requested, that all those persons who wish to place Young Ladies under their care, will please give previous notice of such intention, and make application for a place in the Institution to the subscriber.
By order of the Board of Trustees.
Jno. C. Jacobson, Inspector.
