S. C. LINDSLY PRINCIPAL OF OXFORD ACADEMY, 1830.
OXFORD MALE ACADEMY, N. C.
THE Trustees are gratified in being able to announce to the public, that they have employed Mr. Silas C. Lindsly, as Principal of this Institution, for the next year—an experienced Teacher of eminent qualifications. Mr. Lindsly is a Graduate of Princeton College, N. J., and comes highly recommended by Dr. Archibald Alexander and Dr. Canar-han, President of that College. Under these circumstances, the Board flatter themselves that their Academy, under the care of Mr. Lindsly, will continue to maintain its high standing as well as to merit and receive a liberal patronage from an enlightened community.
The Winter Session will commence on Monday the 11th day of January, 1830.
