Campbell, Sanford - about four years of age, only son of Mr and Mrs. Asbury Campbell died Dec 14,1917. Taylorsville. Buried at Bethel Babtist church.

Carrigan, Thelma Mrs. age 16 yrs daughter of Mr and Mrs. J.C. Carrigan died Dec 21, 1917 at their home in Mill Bridge, Rowan Co of typhoid fever. Parents and brothers and sisters survive. Buried at Thyatira Church.

Cash, Willie - Aged 27, 6 months. Died Nov 26th 1917 of measles at Camp Sevier ,Greenville, S.C . He was a member of Co C 113th Gun Battalion. He has a twin brother in the army, drafted at the same time. Son of J.F. cash of Jennings section of north Iredell. Buried at the Union Grove. Survived by his parents, 5 brother and 3 sisters (11/30/1917 Landmark is torn)

Cashion, J. B. Mrs. age about 50 yrs. Died Dec 24,1917 at her home in Elmwood. Survived by her husband and several children. Buried at St. Paul's Church.

Cochran, Margaret Moore,Mrs.- age 58 years, wide of the late M.J. Cochran died Dec 24,1917 at her home on Harrill St. Statesville. Daughter of the late James Moore of Shiloh Township. Survived by 4 daughters Mrs. J.B Reece, Miss Belle and Mary Sue Cochran of Statesville and Mrs. T. V.  Statten of New London; and one son Dr. James P. Cochran of Haxton, Colo.; 2 brothers J.P. and C. D. Moore of Statesville and one sister Mrs. J. L. Morgan of Marion. Buried at Oakwood Cemetery.

Colyer, C T( Mary Ellen) Mrs. age 80 years, widow of CT Colyer, formerly of Statesville. died July 12, 1917 at her home in Ashville. The Colyer family moved from ashville for statesville about 30 years ago. Three daughters and two sons survived. The daughters all live in Ashville; one son Leigh Colyer lives in Charlotte, the others in Fla and Ga. Mrs Colyer was a native of Chester, England.
