William of Louisville,Ky ;John Ramsey of Spartansburg,SC and Wade Ramsey of Denver, Colo.

Rankin, Alice Alexander Mrs. age 72 yrs. wife of the late Chal Rankin, died at Mooresville. Dec 22,1917. 3 daughters survived: Mrs T.C. Karr of Ashville,Mrs. Z.V. Tarlington and Miss Grace Rankin both of Mooresville.She was the former Miss Alexander of Meck Co. buried in the Mooresville Cemetery.

Rufty, David Calhoun- age 68 years, Born March 9,1849 in the stony point community. Died at his home at Tradd and Waters Sts. in Statesville. July 27,1917 Buried at Oakwood Cemetery.He was the oldest child of John and Rosa Rufty. On July 28,1876 he married Miss Dorcas Sophia Matheson of Toccoa, Ga. and she died Jan 1905. Five daughters; Mrs. James Kelly of charolette, Mrs. Lola Posey of Little Rock Ark., Mrs. Charles Lowery of Chicago Ill. Mrs James McIntosh of Taylorsville and Miss Gertrude of Rufty of Statesville.
