COURSE OF STUDY CHARLOTTE ACADEMY, 1829.
CHARLOTTE FEMALE ACADEMY.

THE exercises of this institution will be resumed on the first of October. The course of instruction includes Spelling and Reading, with particular attention to Orthoepy and Orthography; Writing, Arithmetic, English Grammar, Geography, Astronomy, Natural Philosophy, Chemistry, History, Rhetoric, Logic and Ethics; Drawing, Painting, Needlework and Music.

The price of tuition per session, (five months) payable in advance, is $10.
Contingent expenses $0.50
Drawing and Painting 10.00
Music 20.00

Board can be obtained in the best families in town at $7 per month. Six or eight young ladies can be boarded in the Academy.
