Aug 26, 1777. Ordered that James Espty find security for his good behavior in future, that he shall not evade the assembly of this State by and assuring to recruit any men within this state for any other state: Robert Baker and William Armstrong his securities is bound each in 50 pounds and principle in 160 pounds. Ordered.

Aug 26, 1777. Ordered that John Cate be appointed overseer of the road from the waters of New Hope to William Gibson.

Aug 27, 1777. An inventory of the estate of James Watson summond was returned in oath by James Watson of North Rookneter two of the executors and ordered to be recorded.
Ordered that James Watson be appointed guardian to his son James Watson legator of Jas. Watson deceased on his entering into Bond with John Hogan, Wm Courtney and nath Rachistor his securities in the sum of three hundred pounds for the forthfull discharge of his guardianship.
Ordered that the good and chattels listed in the inventory of the estate of James Watson ordered by the executors be sold agreeable to law.

Sept 11, 1777. The sheriff returned the following people as Grand Jurors: To wit: Benjamin Rhodes, John Hart, John Allen, Robert Baker, Robert Peasley, James McAdams, Thomas Connelly, John Bryant, James Craig, Richard Fossett, Joseph Haskins, William Parter, William Whitehead, John Craig, David Craig, Andrew Mitchell, Daniel Watson and William Blackwood who have been impaneled and sworn.
Ordered that Charles Abernaromley Esq. be appointed overseer of the road from near John Baker’s shop to Francis Kenness and that the following hands work with him. To wit: John Edwards, William Mikane, Robert Abereromley, John Morehead, Robert hall, Henry Hall, Shadrack Forrest, Isaac Forrest, Edward Grissom Sr.
Ordered that John Nesner be appointed overseer of the road in the room of John Baker.
