Feb 23, 1778. Ordered that James Watson be appointed guardian to his daughter Elinor Watson, Rebecca Watson and Elizabeth Watson he entering into bond with security in the sum of thirty pounds.

Ordered that Robert Baker be appointed overseer of the road from the Lynal Midains to Hillsbourough in the room of Chas. Johnston.

May 26, 1778. Ordered that Robert Baker, Thos. Holden, Andrew Patten be fined 3 pounds each for non attendance as jurors at this court.

Chas. Aberesombie and William Thedford having petitioned to this court praying leave to wit and build a public grist mill on their land on the River Enoe near Shoemakers Ford: Ordered that William Rhodes, Edward Gresham Junr, John Baker and John Scoggins be appointed on jury to run the premises and impart to the court as hither it will overflow the mill of any other person or water or nuisance to the neighborhood.
