Raleigh, N. C., Nov.
A most melancholy accident happened in Franklin county, on Thursday last. Four persons of the Society of Friends from Pasquotank county, were travelling to attend a General Meeting of their Socity in Guilford county when in crossing a small creek which was swelled by the late rains, the horses of two of them plunged and threw their riders into the creek in which they sunk and rose no more! Their names were Joshua Morris and Christopher Morris but though their surnames were the same, we understand they were not related. The bodies were afterwards found and decently interred.
