Ivey L. Bardsher
Ivey Lewis Bradsher, of Rt. 5, Burlington, died at his home Sunday at 5 a.m. following a short illness.
A native of Person County, he was the son of the late Squire and Emma Bradsher, and the husband of Mrs. Hattie Howard Bradsher, who survives.  He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Amey Burton, Mebane, Mrs. Cora Flintall, Mrs. Anna Evans and Mrs. Ella Miles, all of Burlington, Mrs. Eunice Richmond, Glen Raven; sons, Willie Bradsher, Prospect Hill, Hardy Lewis, Moses Lee Bradsher, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; foster son, Helton Haith, Burlington; foster daughter, Mrs. Frances Miles, Burlington, step-daughters, Mrs. Minnie Wilson, Burlington, Mrs.  Alease Torain, New York; stepsons, Alonzo Howard, Burlington and the Rev Odell Howard, Rt 5 Burlington; 35 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at Sharpe Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
