REV. J.O. FREEMAN BECOMES PRINCIPAL.
At a meeting of the Trustees of the Raleigh Academy, held on Saturday last, for the purpose of electing a Principal of that Institution, in the place of Rev. Dr. McPheeters, resigned, the choice fell on Rev. Jonathan 0. Freeman, of Salisbury, in this State, who will enter upon the duties of his office at the commencement of the ensuing session on the first Monday in January next.
