Burke County, North Dakota Biographies

C. ERNEST DAVIDSON, of the fortieth district, was born in St. Charles, Minn., October 5, 1872. He came to North Dakota in 1884 and received his education in the high schools of Devils Lake and Minot; is married and has three children, one son and two daughters. After his marriage he moved to Portal, where he at present resides, being engaged in the general merchandise and farm implement business. He was elected to the house in 1908 end 1910, and to the senate in 1912, as a republican.

HERMAN ENDRESON, Bowbells, of the fortieth legislative district, was born at Sogen, Norway, November 5, 1867, and came to the United States in 1885. Received his education in the common schools of Norway and Minnesota. Came to North Dakota in the spring of 1900. He is a harness maker by trade and has engaged in it for the past fifteen years. Held the office of treasurer of the city of Bowbells for two and a half years. He is married and has two children. Was elected representative as a republican.

STAALE HENDRICKSON, member of the house from the fortieth legislative district, is a resident of Coteau and was born June 18, 1875, at Christiansand, Norway, and came to North Dakota in 1893, engaging in the general merchantile business. He is married and has five children. He served as alderman for four years. He was elected to the house as a progressive republican in 1910 from the forty-third district, and in 1912 from the fortieth district.
