BRUNELL
Mr. and Mrs. John Brunell of Wild Rice, N. D., were found dead in bed on the 29th ult., having been suffocated by coal gas. They leave nine children, the eldest being 12 years old. Some of the children are sick, but it is thought they will recover.

EDDY
Death of Prest. Eddy
Last evening, E. B. Eddy, Prest. of the First National Bank of Fargo, died, greatly mourned. He leaves a wife and four children in bereavement. He was one of the staid and most highly esteemed citizens of North Dakota and many who knew him here will regret to hear of his demise.

HALL
A.D. Hall, first dean of Fargo, N.D. college, was burned to death at Three Fork, Mont. The explosion of a can of gasoline casued his death.

LAIRD
Suicide of Col Laird
Fargo, Nov 6 —The report of suicide of Col P N. Laird at Tower City Sunday night, comes upon the public with such force and particularity as to set all doubts at rest Colonel Laird was an old pioneer and has many acquaintances in North Dakota. It is said he weighed himself down with iron in his pockets and jumped into the mill pond where his body was found long afterwards, Mrs. Laird is reported insane over the catastrophe and the whole community is in sympathy with her and the family.

Sylvester C. Whitcher Dead
Sytester C. Whitcher, of , Macalester Park (MN?) who had been a resident of St. Paul since 1854, died yesterday at Farmington, Minn., of inflammatory rheumatism. Whitcher was in the livery business in St. Paul thirty-two years. He was eighty-three years old and is survived by two sons, Edward D. Whitcher, of Farmington, whom he was visiting at the time of his death, and Charles A. Whitcher, of Fargo, N. D.

FARGO PIONEER DIES.
FARGO, N.D., Aug. 21. – J. N. Gaard, pioneer resident of Fargo, died suddenly following a few hours’ illness. Death was due to apoplexy. He was fifty-six years old and an undertaker.

Fargo, N.D., April 27. – Paul J. Scott, aged 15 years, died at a local hospital April 23 of an abcess of the lungs. The boy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott, residing at Detroit, Minn. The parents arrived in the city and accompanied the body to Detroit Sunday afternoon.

Fargo, N.D., June 14 – Hon. Jno. A. Johnson, mayor of Fargo, a former president of the American League of Municipalities and a Mason of high degree, died Friday.

Lockjaw Ends Life of Laundry Girl
Fargo, N.D., march 25 – After having her scalp torn from her head, when her hair caught in a mangle in a laundry in this city, Bessie Thorud, whose home is near Kathryn, N.D. died at a local hospital today. Death came as a result of lockjaw.

Fargo’s Perfect baby Is Dead
Fargo, N.D., Nov. 2 – Fargo’s prize baby – Virginia Lee Weston – is dead. The little child died a victim of scarlet fever, the second death from this contagion within a week. Virginia Lee Weston won both the sweepstakes and the first baby girl’s prize at the 1919 North Dakota State fair. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Weston. The body was taken to St. Paul for burial.
