SMALLPOX AT CARY
GRAND FORKS, N. D.—Secretary Healy of the state board of health has been summoned to Cary to investigate a reported epidemic of smallpox. There has been a clash of authorites over the diagnosis of the disease and Dr. Healy has been called to straighten the matter out. Originally there were three cases of the disease at Cary, but it is said that several other cases have developed within the last few days. [The Minneapolis journal., February 05, 1906 - Sub. by K.T.]
Thomas Ilstad (sic) will probably lose the sight of one of his eyes as a result of a blow inflicted by a drunken laborer in one of the saloons of East Grand Forks. [The Minneapolis journal. (Minneapolis, Minn.) , August 21, 1905 - Sub. by K.T.]
