JOHN J. DOYLE, Wishek. of the thirty-sixth legislative
district, was born in Blue Earth county, Minn., moved to St. Paul, where he spent some time in school; and in May,
1885, he came to Mcintosh county, North Dakota. In 1898 he engaged in the general merchandise and grain business
at Wishek, and since 1903 he has carried on a real estate and grain business at that point. Mr. Doyle is unmarried;
he is and always has been a republican in politics and was elected from the thirty-sixth legislative district in
1908, and in 1910 and again 1912.

PAUL T. KRETSCHMAR, (Venturia), of the thirty-sixth
legislative district, was born in the City of New York. March 10, 1868. When he was two years of age the family
moved to Philadelphia, where he received his common school education. With his parents he moved to Dakota territory
in 1884, locating in Yankton county. in April, 1898, he was elected clerk of the district court of Mcintosh county
and retained that position until the fall of 1904, when he was elected to the position of county auditor, which
he held for two terms. He is married and has three sons and one daughter. He was elected to his present position
in November, 1910, as a republican.
