SHERMAN HICKLE, Sanger, of the forty-eighth legislative district, was born at Vermont, Ill., August 25, 1869. Received his education in the common schools of his native state and at the Rushville (1ll.) Normal. Came to North Dakota in 1900. and has engaged in the occupation of farming all his life. Has never before held or aspired to any public office. He is married and has five children. He was elected representative as a republican.
