Stark County ND Biographies
HENRY KLEIN, Richardton, of the thirty-first
legislative district, was born at Nazy St. Miklos, Hungary, September 21st, 1879, and came to the United States
July 9, 1900. He received his education in his native land, being a graduate from a commercial academy. He came
direct from Hungary to North Dakota, and is at present engaged in the mercantile business at Richardton. He is
married and has two children. He was elected representative as a republican.

M. L. McBRIDE, (Dickinson), of the thirty-first
legislative district, was born October 31, 1878, at Lake City, Minn. Received his education at the Milbank. S.
D. high school and graduated from the law department of the University of Minnesota, with the degree of L. L. B.
Came to North Dakota. June 20, 1902, and was state's attorney of Stark county for three terms, and was elected
to his present position in 1912, as a republican. He is married and has three children, one son and two daughters.
He has engaged in the practice of law for the past eleven years.

C. C. TURNER, Gladstone, of the thirty-first
legislative district, was born at Fond du Lac, Wis., November 9, 1877, and received his education in the high school
and business college. Came to North Dakota, March 25, 1882. settling at Gladstone. he at present engaged in the
real estate business. Served four years under his father. R. J. Turner, commissioner of agriculture and labor,
Bismarck. He is married and has three children. He was elected representative as a republican.

F. W. TURNER, Dickinson, of the thirty-first
legislative district, was born at Oxford, Wis., January 14, 1871. Received his education in the common schools
of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Came to North Dakota in 1901 and engaged in the general blacksmithing and heavy hardware
business which has been his occupation for the past twenty three years. Held the position of alderman at Dickinson
for four years. He is married and has one son. He was elected representative as a republican.
