WILLIAM J. BURNETT, of the eighth legislative district, is a resident of Cummings, Traill county, and is engaged in farming. He was born August 14, 1854, at Washington Court House, Fayette county, Ohio, and was educated in the schools of the same place. Mr. Burnett came to North Dakota in April, 1885, and engaged in farming. He is married and has two sons. He was elected representative in 1908 and again in 1910 and 1912.

ED. COLTOM, Hatton, of the eighth legislative district, was born at Toten, Norway, November 23. 1864. Came to the United States with his parents in 1868, settling in Renville county, Minn. He came to Traill county. N. D., at the age of seventeen years. His principal occupation has been contracting and building. He is married and was elected representative as a republican.

WILLIAM S. DEAN, of the seventh legislative district. Hatton, Traill county, was born at Ellsworth. Conn., on June 6. 1853. and is married and has seven children. He came to North Dakota from Illinois in 1882. and is a farmer. Was educated in the common and high schools. He was elected to the house as a republican in 1906, and again in 1910 and 1912.

GUBRAND L. ELKEN, of the eighth legislative district, was born in Norway, June 10. 1862. He received his education in his native land and came to North Dakota. April 29, 1889. He served as alderman and mayor in his home city, Mayville. He is married and has three children, one son and two daughters. He was elected to his present position in November, 1910, as a republican.

CHARLES ELLINGSON, of the sixteenth legislative district, was born at Arkdale, Adams county, Wis., August 16, 1869. He came to North Dakota in territorial days; was educated in the public schools of this state and attended the state university. In 1889 he settled in Traill county and engaged in the general merchandise business. He is married and has four children, three sons and one daughter. He was elected to his present position in November, 1910, as a republican

ANTON T. KRAABEL, lieutenant governor, of Clifford, Traill County, was born at Guldbrandedalen, Norway, on October 16, 1862; is married and has seven children. He came to North Dakota from Vernon County, Wis., in 1882, and is a merchant. He was educated in the common schools of Wisconsin. Was a member of the house in 1903 and was elected to the senate in 1907 and was elected to his present position in 1912. He is a republican.

O. J. SORLIE, of the eighth district, was born at Hartland, Minn., November 4, 1865. He was educated in the public schools, a business college and the Mankato normal. He came to North Dakota in 1886 and is a resident of Buxton, where he is engaged in fArming and mercantile business. He is married and has five children. 2 sons and 3 daughters. He was a member of the Tenth. Eleventh, Twelfth and Thirteenth Legislative Assemblies. He was elected as a republican.
