Special Dispatch to the World Herald

Tekamah, Nebraska, August 29. --  Old settlers and pioneers of Burt County are arriving here by every train, by wagon, automobile and on foot and many are from states other than Nebraska.  One came in this morning from Los Angeles, while Southeastern Nebraska sent a good sized delegation.

There was no parade with the exception of that of the band, which marched about town before going to the park.

The day is a perfect one and there are thousands of people here.  A feature of the reunion is the large number of real old timers -- men and women who settled in Burt County in the '50s.

The program as prepared is bein gcarried out and the big affair resembles a gigantic family reunion.
