Claude Fletcher
Claude, the 9 year old son of Roy Fletcher, residing a mile from town, became lost in the storm while returning home from school Friday and it was only through the great luck of the searchers that he was saved from perishing.
He has been staying at the home of his grand parents in town and attending school. Friday evening he decided to go on out home without going first to his grand parents. As soon as they learned of his going they sent a team to take him home or see if he had arrived safely. Upon arriving at the home and finding that the boy was still missing, Mr. Fletcher and the driver set out to find him.
They came across him along the Logan Creek, almost a half mile out of his path and lost. The lad discovered that he lost his way home and was endeavoring to return to town.
