Farm Changes Hands

- Allen, Neb., Aug. 23 --
The James Smith eighty acre farm two miles south of Allen was sold
this week to Frank Rahnfeldt, of the Beacon community, for $10,400 or $130 per acre.
Possession will be given March 1.

Moves To Town
ALLEN. Neb. , Aug. 29.—
Thormion Snyder a prominent farmer residing two miles
south of here, has purchased the Elmer Wharton property here and will move to town, turning over the management of the farm to his son Arthur.

Allen, Nebraska, September 18 – Henry L. Balser,
formerly owner and publisher of the Allen News, has purchased the Henry
Henricks farm two miles north of here for $125 acre.
The new owner is planning on
farming part of the place in connection with his duties as rural mail carrier.

and old settlers' picnic held Thursday was a decided
success. Fully 2,500 people were present.
