Eunice Charlotte PutnamEunice Charlotte (Putnam) Muir

Eunice Charlotte Putnam was born 12 December 1904 in Phillipsburg, Kansas, but sometime before she was six years old, her parents moved to Blaine township in Dundy County, Nebraska as that is where the family was on the 1910 Federal Census.  It lists the family of four; William H., Bessie C. , Unice (Eunice) and Amerigo (Theodore A.) Putnam.

Taken 19 August, 1905, age 8 months, 1 week.

Eunice and Melba Eunice Charlotte Putnam (left) and Melva Rozean (Hamann).

Melva's mother was Eunice Putnam Rozean, sister to Judge William Henry Putnam.

This picture was probably taken at the soddie where the Rozeans lived  in Phillips County, Kansas.
Eunice Putnam De Garmo
Guy & Eunice C. De GarmoEunice was married to Guy De Garmo on October 1921 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado.  They made their residence in Haigler.

They had 2 children:
  1. Clayton De Garmo, b. 18 Jun 1922 in Haigler
  2. Madeline Muriel 'Anne' De Garmo, b. 13 Jul 1924 in Haigler.
On September 2, 1930, Eunice married Wesley Mosier in Livingston Park, Montana.  They made their home in Benkelman, Nebraska where they were living when Eunice's sister, Mae, died in 1935.
Eunice and Harry Muir
In March 1944, Eunice married Harry Asa Muir, who 
was stationed at McCook, Nebraska, and was building something for the Army. That's when he and Eunice met.

Judge Will Putnam and Harry Muir standing in the east doorway of the Ford Garage in Benkelman, Nebraska.  The car on the left is a 1949 or 1950 Ford.  Harry and Eunice must have been in Benkelman visiting her father sometime around 1950 when this picture was taken.
