Traveling Horse Thieves
Blue Springs,
Nebraska,
August 15 – Two horses owned by S. M. Blithe were stolen from his barn last
night.
The hounds were brought here
early this morning from Beatrice and put on the track, following the trail of thieves,
south through Wyoming.
Two men supposed to be the same
parties stole a set of harness from the barn of W. H. Salisbury, also a single
buggy and harness from the barn of F. E. Freight, both of Wymore.
Early this morning the parties
were seen southeast of Wymore driving one horse and leading the other.
A posse is in hot pursuit, armed
with Winchesters and revolvers.
