Band Formed at Liberty
Liberty, Nebraska, June 19. -- Liberty has a newly organized bank of twenty six menbers.
Arthur Vogel has been engaged as bandmaster.

The younger married folks class of the Christian church met at the
home of Mrs. Coolldge Tuesday evening:. A business meeting: was held with
election of class officers for the coming year an follows: Mrs. Myrtle Saarcey,
president; Mrs. Grace Hart, vice president; Mrs. Archie Smith,
secretary-treasurer. A contest in attendance was planned for the next six weeks.
Games were played and refreshments were nerved by the hostess and Myrtle Searcey
to fourteen guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Duncan, Mrs. Everett Barr, Mrs. T. J. Poague were in
Lincoln Tuesday on business, Walter S. Matthews of Casper, Wyo., was shaking
hands with friends this week and visited a short time at the Clyde and Ivan
Bowhay homes and with Mrs. Vernie Wright.

Mr. and Mrs, W. T. Hall returned from a two weeks vacation Friday. They
visited relatives in Topeka, Lincoln and Wilsonville, Neb.. and went to Boulder,
Colo., for an outing, Nathan and Harve Roberts, F'erd Ackerman and Will Stewart
returned this week from a three weeks' trip to Wyoming and other western points.
They found work along the line and report a very enjoyable trip. Mrs. John Hart
returned home early Saturday morning from the George McMurray home where she has
been nursing.

Evangelist Dunning, who is holding a meeting at the Christian church in
Wymore will preach at the Liberty Christian Church on Monday evening, October
25. The public is cordially invited to the services. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Burgett and
Edgar Burgett of Beatrice went to Scottsbluff to visit her sisters, Mrs. Charles
Bell and Mrs. Ben Maxwell. Mr. Burgett expects to , hunt while there. Miss
Adeline VVilley accompanied them and is visiting her aunt, Mrs. Gaylord
Griggs.

Will Mitchell returned to Lincoln Friday afternoon after visiting with old
friends and relatives a few days. R. P. Garrett, uncle of Mrs. Jessie Coolidge.

Glen Lynch and Everett Graham returned from Iowa and report that corn
husking for single hands without teams and wagons is not available. Mr. and Mrs.
Carol Spargur and son leave tomorrow for their new home in Rosemont, Neb., where
he is to be depot agent. Donna D. Hurt and Kenneth Maguire were entertained at
the Ron Duncan home Sunday evening- with a 6 o'clock buffet luncheon
