Close of the Annual Sessions and Election of Officers

 

Beatrice, Neb.; Dec. 14.—{Special to The Herald}—The grand council of Royal Arch Masons and annual convention of the grand chapter, and other masonic organizations which have been in session here the past three days, have adjourned.

 

Fully 50 prominent Masons of the state were in the city during that time.

 

The grand convention, Order of High Priesthood of Nebraska, elected the following officers:

 

    M. E. President- James A. Tulleys,  Red Cloud

    E. Vice President – Samuel  P. Davidson

    F. Chaplain – Frank Young

    M. Treasurer - Charles   A. Holmes, Tecumseh

    E.. Recorder - William R. Bowen, Omaha

    Comp. Master of Ceremonies – James Taylor, Lincoln

    Comp. Conductor  - Robert E. Franch

    Comp. Herald – Charles J. Phelps

    Comp. Steward – Edwin R. Richardson

    Comp. Sentinel - Charles A. Holmes

 


The grand council of Royal and Select Masters elected the following officers:

    R. D. Deputy Grand Master – Samuel P. Davidson, Tecumseh

    Comp. Principal Conductor Work – James Gilbert, Omaha

    Comp. Grand Treasurer – Milton J. Hull, Edgar

    Comp. Grand Recorder – William R. Bowmen, Omaha

    Comp. Grand Chaplain – Jeff H. Foxworthy, Lincoln

    Comp. Grand Captain of Guards – Charles C. Rittonhouse, Hastings

    Comp. Grand Conductor of Council – Robert E. French, Kearney

    Comp. Grand Steward – Lucian D. Richards, Fremont

    Comp. Garnd Sentinel – Jessee Richards, Beatrice

 

 

The grand chapter elected the following officers:

Under dispensation of the Grand Council, Raboni Council of Royal and Select Masters was organized in this city, and the council degrees conferred upon several companions. 

 

The following officers were elected and duly installed by Most. Pulssant Grand Master Frank H. Young of Custer:

 

    Thrice Illustrious Master – Henry M. Blake

    Right Illustrious Deputy Master – Gilbert L. Cole

    Illustrious Principal Conductor – James E. Cobbey

    Treasurer – Ed C. Salisbury

    Captain of the Guards – Ellet G. Drake

After the officers of the grand chapter had been installed the chapter adjourned.
