J. A. Crump, who has sold his hardware business, has accepted a position as traveling salesman for a Denver wholesale hardware house.

 

 

J. B. Ferguson of Union Pacific Commercial agency is convalescent and has hopes of again recovering his former robust health.

 

 

George Stannard of Adams, who assaulted and stabbed young Whyman three weeks ago and then left for parts unknown, appeared in county court Thursday and gave bond in the sum of $300 for his appearance on the 17th.

 

 

Dr. Grant Cullimore telegraphed from Clarksburg, Virginia, the sad intelligence of the death of his mother of apoplexy.

 

The case of J. R. Ellis for printing obscene literature was called before United  States Commisioner Cobbey.   Ellis waived examination and was bound over to the United States district court in the sum of $300, Attorney Hazlett appearing as bondsman.

 

 

Judge Stull convened district court Tuesday.  The term will be unusually long, as there is a large docket and many tedious cases.

 

 

Mort Simons has resigned his position with the First National Bank and will remove to Lincoln, his former home.

 

 

Charles Althen has accepted a position in Norfolk Insane Asylum.
