The Bower Cemetery is located in Section 1, Richland precinct. From Fairbury go north on Hwy 15 until you see the blue Bower sign, about 7 miles. Turn east onto 720th Road, and continue east about 1 1/2 miles. The cemetery sits on the south side of the road. This cemetery is well maintained, and I believe it is still active. There is a fence around it with a chained gate, although it is not locked. I am currently in the process of photographing and transcribing this cemetery, and plan to have it online soon.
