Grandy Cemetery is located in Section 31, Cub Creek Precinct, Jefferson Co, Nebraska. From Fairbury, go east on Hwy 136 to the intersection of 570th Ave. Go north on 570th Ave just under 2 miles, then turn east on 715th Road and go about 1/2 mile. The cemetery sits on the south side of the road. This cemetery is fairly well maintained, although there are some badger holes and other minor hazards that visitors should watch for. At one time there was a fence around it, and I seem to remember it being there in the fall of 2007, but during the reading in February 2008 only the metal fence posts were still there. A handwriten note in the cemetery book published in 1983 says that this cemetery was also called Zion Methodist Cemetery. Click on an underlined name to view photos.
