Powell Cemetery is located in Section 14, Meridian Precinct. From Fairbury, go north on Hwy 15 to 717th Road. Turn west and go 5 miles to 563rd Avenue. Turn north and go about 1 mile. The cemetery sits on the southwest corner of the intersection of 563rd Ave & 718th Road and is east and north of the former town of Powell. This cemetery is still active and fairly well maintained. It is fenced and gated but unlocked. This is a listing of all stones found as of August 2009. If you have additional information or photos, please email me.
