Jefferson Co Nebraska

Rose Creek Cemetery is located in Thayer County, just across the Jefferson County line from Section 7, Buckley Precinct. To reach it from Fairbury, take Hwy 8 south and west, going through Reynolds. Turn north onto 558th Avenue (county line) and go approx. 1/2 mile. The cemetery sits on the west side of the road. There is a sign on the highway indicating where to turn for the cemetery. I have included it with the Jefferson Co listings as it contains burials for many Reynolds area residents. This cemetery is still active and in good condition. It is fenced and gated but unlocked. I would estimate that there are over 500 graves here, this is only a partial listing.
