Jefferson Co Nebraska

Rose Creek Cemetery is located in Thayer County, just across the Jefferson County line from Section 7, Buckley Precinct. To reach it from Fairbury, take Hwy 8 south and west, going through Reynolds. Turn north onto 558th Avenue (county line) and go approx. 1/2 mile. The cemetery sits on the west side of the road. There is a sign on the highway indicating where to turn for the cemetery. This cemetery is still active and in good condition. It is fenced and gated but unlocked. I would estimate that there are over 500 graves here.
