Isabella Ireland

Died--On the 29th inst., Isabella, wife of James Ireland, aged thirty six years, ten months and twenty-nine days.

After a somewhat painful but rather brief illness our dear sister has passed away, leaving behind her a good testimony that she loved God, and has therefore entered upon that rest which remaineth for His people. A truly affectionate and deeply bereaved husband and family of nine children, are left to mourn their loss of a devoted wife and mother whose worth was beyond all price. A vast assembly gathered at her funeral when her pastor, Elder Noble, preached to the tearful crowd from 1 Thess. 14-17. The procession to the cemetery was one of the largest ever seen in this county, indicating the high esteem entertained for the departed, and the deep sympathy felt for the bereaved. May God be their helper and fully reward all who so kindly strove to alleviate their woe.
