Sale of Niobrara Tribune
Special Dispatch to the World Herald
Niobrara,
Nebraska, July 18. -- George H. King has purchased the
Niobrara Tribune and will take possession the first
of August.
The
Tribune will continue to advocate fusion men and measures,
and in the future, as in the past, can be confidently
relied on as a power for good in this section of Nebraska.

County Seat
Fight in Knox
A
fierce county set relocation fight is on a petition
having been filed containing 1,900 names out of a possible
2,900.
The
Opposition to the move are out in squads all over the
county securing protests.
What
the outcome of the fight will be is very hard to say.

Guarding The Court House
New Knox County Seat Building Threatened With Destruction
Special Dispatch to the World Herald
Creighton, Nebraska, February 25. -- Threats
have been made that as soon as completed the new court
house at Center, the new county seat, would be burned.
The Knox county commissioners have placed a close
watch on the building.

To Divide Knox County
Niobrara, Nebraska, August 16. -- The board
of supervisors, after a prolonged fight, submitted the
Creighton petition to the vote of the people, asking for a division of Knox County
on the township line between 30 and 31 to be called
Union.
The proposed county is 12 miles wide and 42 miles
long. The indications are that it will carry on
the majority vote.
