Bridgeport Teachers for Coming Year

Bridgeport, Nebraska, April 3 --  The following teachers have been named for the Bridgeport schools for the coming year:

C. A. Sheets, superintendent

B. Clayburn, principal

Miss Margaret Mitchell, eighth grade

Miss Minnie Oldershaw, fourth grade

Miss Cornelia Willis, first grade

Work began this week on the new $40,000 building.

District Winners in Declamatory Contest

Bridgeport, Nebraska, April 3 --  The following in their order, were first and second winners of the North Platte Valley decalamatory contest among the high schools of Bayard, Bridgeport, Kimball, Alliance, Oshkosh, Sidney, McRae, Minatare, Scottsbluff and Morrill:

Miss Frances Herbert, Sidney

Clarence Cushman, Kimball, oratorical class

Murine Jacoby, Kinball

Marion Mote, Alliance, dramatic class

Ruth Hadley, Scottsbluff

Corine Mollring, Alliance , Humorous class

The winners will represent the district in the state contest.
