Mrs. Margaret Worsham

 

Mrs. Margaret Worsham died in Holdrege, Nebraska on Tuesday at the home of relatives where she had spent the winter. Her remains will arrive in Rushville today on the 12:10 train and the funeral services will be held in the Christian Church at Pleasantview.

 

Mrs. Worsham was taken with her fatal illness a few days before she planned to return to her home in this county. Her condition became alarming some ten days ago and her three children - Branch Worsham, Mrs. G. W. Gragg and Mrs. T. P. Ballard went to her bedside and ministered to her wants in her last days.

 Note: G. W. Gragg is George W. Gragg and T. P. Ballard is Theodore "T P" P. Ballard.

Another Colorado Wreck Victim

Glenwood Springs, Col. - A. P. Rosseau of Holdrege, Neb., died here Tuesday night from injuries received in the Denver & Rio Grande wreck at Dotsero.

 

He is the twenty-third victim of the week.

B. P. Stephenson  

 

Elwood, Neb., Dec. 7. – B. P. Stephenson of Bertrand died yesterday of typhoid fever. Mr. Stephenson had been a resident of Gosper County for a number of years before moving to Bertrand. Mr. Stephenson’s wife had sued him for a divorce at the June term of court in Phelps County, which was granted to her, but which had been appealed to the Supreme Court by Mr. Stephenson. Mr. Stephenson had sued a party for alienation of his wife’saffection, growing out of the divorce suit.
