On Sunday July 4th occurred the fifteenth annual
reunion of the decedents of William and Sarah Lewis, early pioneers of this
section of the country. L. L. Lewis,
president, and the only living member of this pioneer family was unable to attend
because of an accident which resulted in a fractured hip. He is now in a hospital at Beatrice.
The groups were seated at one long table in the Baptist Church parlors. Fried chicken and ice cream was pat of the
menu as usual.
Rev. Wilkin acted as presiding officer and led the group in
prayer.
Moved by E. M. Armour that L. L. Lewis be elected
president. Motion carried.
Moved by Anna Winter Armour that Lewis Winter be elected
secretary. Motion carried.
