17th
Annual Reunion
The 17th annual reunion of the Lewis family was
held in the basement of the Baptist
Church July 4, 1950.
After the noon meal, a short program was presented: The program was in charge of Richard Winter.
Solo – Barbara Jean Mosley
Recitation – Gayla Jo Winter
Solo – Charles Wheeler
Poem – Sherrill Wheeler
Solo – “Oh What a Beautiful Morning”, Margaret Mosley
Solo – “Nebraska”
and “Old Fashioned Roses” – Jessie Aukes
Mrs. Fred Winter was pianist.
Group singing.
A short business session was held.
Moved by Jessie Aukes that Lewis Winter be elected
president. Motion carried.
Moved by Richard Winter that Claude Wheeler b elected
Vice-President. Motion carried.
Moved by Fred Winter that Anna Armour be elected
Secretary. Motion carried.
Moved by Frederick D. Winter that Betty Armour Freeborn be
elected program chairman. Motion
carried.
Talks were given by Dr. Aukes, Lois Winter, Claude Wheeler
and Archie White.
Moved by Anna Armour that each family bring a basket
dinner. Motion carried.
Greetings from Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stone of Comstock, Nebraska. Mrs. Stone was former by Mary Armour and Dr.
and Mrs. Lewis Winter, Jr. and family of Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
