20th
Annual Reunion
On Saturday, July 4th the twentieth annual
reunion of the Lewis Family was held in the Baptist Church
parlors.
At 12:30 dinner was served to the twenty nine members of the
family attending.
Group singing was led by Ruth Wilkin.
Rev. W. A. Wilkin led in prayer.
Minutes of the 1952 meeting were read and approved. The president Lewis Winter
presiding.
Greetings were read from Lois Winters of California.
Dr. Robert Winter sent greetings by his mother Alvena
Winter.
Ruth Wilkin told about the Wilkin family and of the Rev.
Wilkin’s 89th birthday.
Jessie Aukes told of their son Lewis and his work in the
service.
Also brought greetings from her sister Lena,
brothers Guy and Walter.
Sadie Winter reported their daughter Margaret had mumps,
Elaine a new baby boy and son. Dr Lewis
had gone to new location in Arizona.
A welcome was extended Percy Hall and his new wife Mildred.
Richard Winter then presented the following program.

Duet “How Much is The Doggie in The Window” - Kathy &

Solos “Bless This House” & “Always” – Jessie Aukes with
Alvena Winter at Piano
Nell Andreas, family historian, reported a son Dennie born
to Elaine and Archie White. One marriage – Percy Hall to Mildred Wilson.
Dr. J. Aukes spoke & told some of his famous stories.
Frederick Dale Winter told of his election to head coach at Pawnee City.
Richard Winter reported that he was a candidate for State
Commander of American Legion.
Jessie Aukes moved the officers hold for coming year –
motion carried.
After program pictures of the group were taken by Fred
Winter and he showed pictures taken of previous reunions and some of their
trips.
Richard Winter was asked to have charge of 1954 program and
Ruth Wilkin suggested each family put on a stunt.
The group sang “Blest Be The Tie” and Sadie Winter closed
with prayer.
