32nd Annual
Reunion
The thirty second annual reunion of the Lewis family was
held in the Baptist
Church parlors at one
o’clock.
There were twenty five present for the wonderful fried
chicken dinner.
After the dinner a short program was presented.
Trumpet Solo – Robbie Freeborn – his mother accompanying on
the piano.

Kathy then played a record made in South
Dakota by the Tripoli’s – a group
of nine Doane College
musicians and told about the Doane Vagabound trip to the World’s Fair in New York.
A short business session followed, conducted by the
president, Lewis Winter. Minutes of the
’64 reunion were read and approved.
Jessie Aukes, Anne Armour and Alvena Winter were asked to
promote a better attended reunion for 1966.
Greetings were read from Frances Armour Lannom whose husband
has retired from the United States Navy and is a car insurance adjuster.
Sadie reported a call from Lewis, Jr., with greetings for
all.
The historian, Alvena Winter reported a baby born to Fred
and Betty Wilkin in February 1965.
Alvena reported that Lois had been here from California.
Each family expressed their pleasure inbeing privileged to
attend reunion.
Jim Lannom introduced his wife and said he was attending Nebraska University.
Marvel reported that her husband Rolland’s son Robbie Dale
had been visiting them.
Jessie Aukes moved all officers be retained. We were dismissed with prayer by the
president.
Pictures were taken before going to the Fred Winter
home. Home made ice cream was made and
served in the evening. Not with standing
the fact that so few were present it was one of our most enjoyable reunions.
