4th Annual Reunion
On Sunday, July 4th, occurred the 4th annual reunion of the Lewis family. This was held in the Baptist Church Parlors.
Dinner was served to fifty-two members of the family and their guests.
L. L. Lewis, president, announced the following program:
Piano Duet - "Taps" - Betty and Frances Jean Armour
Solo - "Freckle Face" - Frederick Dale Winters
Solo "Home on The Range" - with guitar accompaniment - Ethel Lewis
Solo - "In the Time of Roses" - Elaine Winter
Solo - "My Little Yellow Dog" - Mary Ellen Armour accompanied by Betty Armour
Whistling Solo - "When the Red Robin comes Bob-bob-bobin' Along" - Lois Winter
Solo - "My Little Damozel" - Margaret Winter - Mrs. Fred Winter was at the piano
L. L. Lewis was reelected president and Lewis Winter secretary for the coming year.
A social hour followed. Letters of a greeting were read from:
Mrs. T. J. Hatfield of Long Beach, California, Dr. Chester Hatfield also of Long Beach,
Bernice Winter Miller of Exeter, Nebraska and Walter Lewis of Mantica, California.
An unusual event was the representation of four generations in the families of Jesse Lewis and L. L. Lewis.
Those representing the four generation group of the Jesse Lewis family were:

Dr. Arthur Lewis of Ellsworth, Kansas
Mrs. Virginia Lewis Osborne and sons Dennis and Merlin of Talmadge, Nebraska.
While those representing the L. L. Lewis family were:

Mrs. Lena Lewis Wheeler, Earl Wheeler and Baby daughter, Claudine, all of Western
Mrs. Nell Andreas Dr. Lewis and Mrs. Jesse Lewis Aukes were appointed to write a history of the Lewis family.
