Winter Family Reunion Attended by 40, July 4 The 27th reunion of the Winter family was July 4 in the Baptist church parlors. Dinner was served to 40. The program was presented by the children.
The historian, Mrs. Fred Winter, presented a family tree dating back to the Revolutionary war. Out of town guests were Charles Winter of Lincoln, his son, Gerald Winter, and his daughter, Mrs. Hermie Wiegers, both of Seattle Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Hall and Iverna Goodell of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Winter, Jr., Charles, Nancy and Freddie of Omaha, and Mr. and Mrs. Archie White, Peggy and Dennis of Fremont.
Pictures of previous reunions were shown before the evening lunch by Dick Stone, Robert Freeborn and Fred Winter. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Winter also showed pictures of their recent Hawaiian trip. Officers for next year are Lewis Winter, president, and Mr. E. M. Armour, secretary
Lewis Family Reunion
Monday, July 4th, marked the 27th anniversary of the Lewis family reunion held in the Baptist Church parlors.
At one o’clock the traditional fried chicken dinner was served. Following the dinner the children presented a program followed by a business meeting.
After the buffet supper in the evening all enjoyed the fireworks display in the park.
