Another Pioneer Gone
Mrs. Hanna Clifton, wife of the late Charles Clifton, died yesterday at the advanced of 83 years. The Clifton family is well known, having lived since 1857 in Sarpy county near the south line of the city. They are survived by two sons, George H. of Sarpy county and William M. of Colorado. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock, from the First Presbyterian church. Rev. R.L. Wheeler will conduct the service. Interment will be made in the Forest Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Clifton’s death occurred in the St. Joseph’s hospital. She was well known in this city, especially by the pioneers, and was highly esteemed by all who knew her.
