Henry Allen Darrow
Designer of Bellevue College, and Other Structures
Henry Allen Darrow, the architect, died Wednesday at his home, 518 South Twenty-second street, at the age of 83, after a long illness.
He was a native of Vermont and had been a resident of Omaha since 1877. He was architect of the first buildings of Bellevue college and designed other important structures in this and neighboring cities. He was an officer for years of the First Presbyterian church, and stood high professionally and in church and social circles. He leaves a widow and one sone, George M. Darrow of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
The funeral will be held from the residence at 4 p.m. Friday.
