Hon. James Davidson Dies

Springfield, Neb., March 18 - Hon. James Davidson died at his home here at 10:30 o’clock last night. Mr. Davidson was one of the oldest settlers of Sarpy county, having come here from Ohio in 1856. He was twice elected to the state legislature and has filled various positions of honor and trust since. By quiet industry and strict integrity he succeeded in gaining a goodly share of this world’s goods, and at the time of his death was president and principal owner of the Sarpy County State bank, besides having large land interests. He was 75 years of age.
