Funeral of Sarpy Pioneer
The funeral of Enoch McCarty, one of the oldest citizens in Sarpy county, will be held from Union church this afternoon. Mr. McCarty was an uncle of the notorious McCarty boys, and came to Sarpy county in 1854, when four other families resided within its confines. He was a successful farmer near Bellevue, and is the father of a large family. A large number of old citizens will attend his funeral today, which is in charge of Undertaker Brewer of this city.
