James B. Melia Dies
James B. Melia, 78, died at his home in Gretna, Thursday night. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Gretna vicinity since 1857. He and Mrs. Melia had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary May 5, 1934.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; two daughters, Catherine, Gretna; Mrs. Mae Durst, O’Neil; five sons, M.R., Aberdeen, S.D.; Joseph H., Boise, Idaho; Earl, Omaha; George and Anthony, Gretna.
The body is at Larkin’s.
