Dennis Murphy Dies at Farm Near Gretna
Gretna, Neb., Fe. 25 - Dennis Murphy, youngest of three Murphy brothers who were robbed of several thousand dollars’ worth of liberty bonds on their farm south of Gretna last fall, died Friday morning at breakfast.
The three brothers lived alone on the farm. The two survivors, Jim and Bill, are older than Dennis, who was 73. They had lived on the farm for nearly half a century. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from Gretna Catholic church.
