Death of an Old Pioneer
J.D. Patterson of Papillion Passes Away at Age of 62
Special Dispatch to the World-Herald.
Papillion, Neb., Feb. 10 - Hon. J.D. Patterson died this afternoon at 2 o’clock. He was one of the oldest and most honored citizens of Sarpy county. For many years he had been county surveyor and acted as clerk of the court. He was 68 years old and leaves a wife and seven children. His children in the order of their age are: Albert T. Patterson of the state of Washington, Mrs. E.G. Fase, Horace D. Patterson, civil engineer, Omaha; William E. Patterson, school teacher; Lulu P. Nickerson, Gretna; Nellie Speedy, Benson; May Patterson, Papillion.
The funeral announcement will be made later.
