In the death of Mrs. P.M. Peckham Sunday night, another of Nebraska’s pioneers passed away. She came to the state in 1855 with her husband and family, and had been a resident of Sarpy county up to ten years ago, and of Omaha ever since. In the early days when settlers depended on one another for help in sickness and distress, she always responded. She was 80 years old.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist church.
