Death of a Pioneer

Papillion, Neb., May 19 - S.M. Pike, aged 68 years, died yesterday afternoon in South Papillion from Bright's disease. Mr. Pike was a native of Charleston, Vt., and located in Bellevue in 1885. A brother, Matthew Pike, living in Michigan, has been notified. The funeral takes place Monday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Nicholl officiating. The interment will be at Schaab's cemetery.
