Emma Rosenstihl, 81, State Pioneer, Dies
Miss Emma Rosenstihl, 81, member of an early Nebraska pioneer family which came from Maryland in 1857 and settled in Springfield, Neb., died at Weatherford, Olka., Tuesday.
Born in a Springfield log cabin, Miss Rosenstihl lived in that community until 1913, when she moved to Weatherford, where her sister, Mrs. Eugene Howe, resides. Also surviving are a brother, Gus R. Rosenstihl, Gretna, Neb., and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Springfield Methodist church, Burket mortuary in charge, with burial in Springfield cemetery.
